Choosing a HOSTACK bookshelves
Start with the space you have. Measure the wall before you look at anything else. Our bookshelves run from 12 inches wide, and the tallest of them stands at 86″. A piece that crowds a doorway or blocks a window will annoy you every time you walk past it. Write down the width and height that fit your room, then narrow the list from there.
Adjustable shelves matter more than most people expect. We include them on 47 of our 18 designs, and they let you shift a shelf up or down when a tall art book or a short paperback changes the arrangement. The barn-door styles look good, but those doors hide part of your collection. If you want to see everything you own, pick an open frame instead.
None of these bookshelves have outlets or charging ports. If you need a place to plug in a lamp or charge a tablet near where you read, look at our LED nightstands instead. They are built for that job. These shelves hold books and display objects. That is what they do.
We pack anti-tip hardware with 44 of our bookshelf models. You will find it in the box. Anchor the unit to the wall if you have small children or pets who climb. It takes a few minutes, and it keeps the furniture from tipping if someone pulls on a low shelf.
